    June 2, 2022 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm

    June 2nd
    Style of the Month
    11C. Strong Bitter

Malters Club Competition for ALL club members. We all going to be making Mike "Tasty" McDoles Janet's Brown [Link to recipe sheet] - Listing both All Grain and Extract recipes taken from 2021 AHA's Big Brew Recipe for Janet's Brown [AHA Link]

You can also purchase a pre-made kit from More Beer [All Grain or Extract - PDF Recipe] as well. More Beer donates 100% of the proceeds to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Brew as is, no variation, no additions and no removals - And I know that the More Beer and AHA recipes do vary some but nothing to make a big difference. Just pick on, go with it and enjoy! Both list various yeast options ... Just select a clean neutral Cali/American Ale yeast you prefer. I highly suggest LalBrew BRY-97 if you've never tried it.
